DroneCast is the most specialised module on the platform. It is not aimed at businesses in general but at organisations that fly drones and have to document what they see: fire brigades, relief organisations and clubs.
Who this module is built for
Grown out of the practice of:
- Fire brigades bringing an aerial picture to incident command
- Relief organisations that have to document operations afterwards
- Clubs with a drone unit that want footage stored centrally and lawfully
- Instructors who need real material for training and debriefing
What the module does
The stream from the DJI drone is received and stored as a recording. Nothing is lost because someone forgot to hit record.
All recordings sit centrally, searchable and assigned to an operation – not spread across phones and SD cards.
Mark sites on the map and attach streams and recordings to them. Incident command sees immediately where things are happening.
External parties get time-limited access to exactly one session – without an account and without reaching anything else.
Who may stream, watch and archive is governed by roles. Sensitive recordings stay inside the circle of authorised people.
When recordings must not leave your own infrastructure, DroneCast runs inside your network. Without an internet connection too.
What it is not: not a flight planning or control system. You keep flying with the manufacturer's tools.
